if you looking for best bluetooth speakers under 2000 with high bass, then you are at right place.
Welcome to this guide to the best bluetooth speakers. These are Grandlife’s recommendations for the best portable and outdoor speakers you can buy in 2020.
Bluetooth speakers are great gadgets that you can take with you to a day out at the beach, to a campfire or to a picnic in the park. That does not mean that the speakers are not convenient to use at home. Think of music during a relaxing bath or while working in the garden.
Most of us can’t afford new speakers for every occasion, which means we need to find one that will suit us at the bath, beach and everything in between. That is why we have put together a guide that helps you find the best speaker.
How do you choose the best bluetooth speaker?
There are so many speakers on the market today that it is difficult to determine which speaker best suits your needs. While it may seem like you have an endless choice, it’s actually not that bad.
Some speakers are built with durability in mind, others are water and weather resistant for camping and poolside music. Others are not suitable for taking outside and look very cool in your living room.
If you’re struggling to determine which speaker is best for you, consider where to use the speaker. Then you look for a copy that meets those wishes. If you’re a beach person, look for a model that is dust and water resistant.
If you like a party, you may want to link two or more speakers together with multi-point pairing, allowing multiple devices to play simultaneously. Battery life and sound quality are important for all models, of course. We have made sure that those elements play an important role in all our choices. You can also look for JBL speaker deals to find a great deal on the internet!
Then now comes our list with 10 of our favorite wireless bluetooth speakers, ordered by their price-quality ratio and which you will enjoy.
1. UE Boom 3
The best bluetooth speaker
Weight: 0.6kg | Battery life: 15 hours | Wireless range: 10 meters | Frequency range: 90Hz-20kHz | Drivers: two 1.75 “drivers and two 1.75” x 3 “passive radiators | NFC: Yes | Aux-in: Yes | USB charging : Yes
- IP67 water / dust resistant
- Powerful sound
- Rugged design
- Battery life has not improved from the original version
While we weren’t as impressed with the UE Boom 3 as its predecessor, it’s still the best bluetooth speaker you can buy in 2020. This speaker can produce a lot of sound, but will not distort if you turn up the volume. It is light enough to take with you when you go camping, but also robust enough to carry in your bag unprotected.
The speaker is both water and dust resistant and in this version has a mix button with which you can play your favorite playlists without having to pick up your phone.
There are certainly more detailed speakers available (like the Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin that you’ll read more about later), but at this price point, UE Boom 3 hits all the right notes for the third year in a row!
Ultimate Ears now lets you build your own UE Boom 3, giving you even more choices when it comes to color and patterns.
2. Bose SoundLink Revolve
The second best bluetooth speaker
Weight: 0.75kg | Battery life: up to 12 hours | Wireless range: 10 meters | Frequency range: N / A | Drivers: N / A | NFC: No | Aux-in: Yes | USB charging: Yes
- Real 360-degree sound
- Nice design and construction
- Detailed and full sound
- Best used indoors
The Bose SoundLink Revolve is a great sounding speaker, especially if you’re looking for true 360-degree sound. The speaker also works great if you want to share music during a party or walk around the room and don’t want to miss any of the music. However, the Bose SoundLink Mini II sounds a bit better and is also a bit cheaper to buy.
3. JBL Charge 4
A great speaker with which you can even charge your phone
Weight: 1.06kg | Battery life: 20 hours | Wireless range: 10+ meters | Frequency range: 60Hz – 20kHz | Drivers: Two 1.7 ″ drivers and two passive radiators | NFC: N / A | Bluetooth version: 4.2 | Aux-in: Yes | USB charging: Yes
- Banging bass sounds
- Waterproof
- Woofers in the picture
You don’t have to leave it for the money . For a good price you get a speaker that you can use all day long, sounds great and a model that can also take a beating. If necessary, you can even use the battery to charge your smartphone! Yes, there are speakers available that sound better, but you have to pay more for that.
Although the JBL Charge 4 only shows minor improvements compared to its predecessor, it remains a good speaker for little money. It is also one of the best water resistant speakers you can buy, which is why it is also one of the best bluetooth speakers!
4. Sony SRS-XB501G
The ultimate party speaker with built-in Google Assistant
Weight: 3,118kg | Battery life: 12 hours | Wireless range: about 30 meters | Frequency range: 20 – 20,000Hz | Drivers: 45mm | NFC: Yes | Aux-in: N / A | USB charging: No.
- Portable party speaker
- Powerful, spacious sound
The SRS-XB501G is a large speaker that can also show a light show. It also has the option to be placed on a tripod and features Google Assistant. This is a speaker that you can use literally anywhere, both on the road and at home after a day of partying. The speaker is brilliant on the road. It can play loud music for 16 hours. At home you have a somewhat dated design and mediocre voice recognition – especially if you compare the quality with other speakers for the home.
A competitor like the LG PK7 sounds a bit better and has a light show that actually responds to the music, but does not have a built-in Google Assistant. If you’re looking for a good portable speaker that fits in your bag and supports Google Assistant, you can go for the JBL Link 20. Just don’t expect it to pump out that much bass or provide the widest possible soundstage.
But the XB501G is a good all-around speaker that can do everything. It is neither the best wireless speaker nor the best smart speaker, but it is solid in both categories and one of the few that has both functions in one housing.
5. Denon Envaya (DSB-250BT)
The most durable bluetooth speaker
Weight: 0.8kg | Dimensions: 209 x 74 x 77mm (W x L x H) | Battery life: 13 hours | Wireless range: 30m | Frequency range: N / A | Drivers: 2 x 40mm Full Range Driver, 1 x 53x135mm Passive Radiator | NFC: No | Aux-in: Yes | Bluetooth version: n / a | Weather resistant: Yes | USB charging: No.
- Powerful, rich, room-filling sound
- Better balanced sound than competitors
The latest speaker in the Denon Envaya line is one of the first speakers that amazed us in 2020. It delivers a powerful, room-filling sound that will sound good to everyone. In addition, it is sealed according to the IP67 standard, making it both dust and water resistant. It’s built like a tank, making it one of the most durable speakers we’ve ever had.
Despite its near-flawless performance, the Envaya is not perfect: the sound quality is full, powerful and rich, but the mids lack that extra something that some people go for. The buttons on the side feel a bit stiff and are therefore difficult to operate. In the end, these are only minor remarks, the Denon Envaya remains a fantastic bluetooth speaker: easily one of the best you can buy this year.
